I 'M BUILDING A HOME, I INFORMED HIM THAT THE MACHINE I NEEDED WOULD BE DIGGING A TOTAL OF 1000 FT OF DITCH. FOR POWER,WATER,CABLE AND TELEPHONE LINES ON 3 ACRES, PLUS ROCK RAKING,PLUS ROCK RAKING AND MORE ROCK RAKING...THEN COMES THE YORK RAKING, SEEDING AND MOWING, MOWING, MOWING. I'M A HOMEOWNER AND I WAS TREATED LIKE A MEMBER OF THE FARMING COMMUNITY WHO SPENDS $$$$$$$$$ IN A LIFETIME, WHEN THIS TRACTOR WILL BE GIVEN TO MY KIDS. LIKE THE OL' JD EVERYONE RELIES ON. Just thought i would let you know. I have had my new 790 with r4 tires and 419 fel since october 2002. I have 17 acres and use it for brushhogging and clearing limbs and any thing else i can think of. It is really a nice machine a little close but i like having all the controls at hand. I think you will be very happy with your choice. Good Luck!

I also am thinking of getting the no.7 hoe for my 790. Just wondering if it is worth the $6000 or is the 790 too light of a machine for a backhoe. ....
